We are pleased to announce that Dr. Katarzyna Lasota Heller (Managing Partner at LEXcellence AG & President of the Swiss-Polish Blockchain Association) will be moderating an interesting discussion panel (3rd session), namely Exploring blockchain, artificial intelligence and digital finance & economy in the service of science and business at 3rd Polish Economic & Technology Forum in Switzerland in Bern on September 19, 2023, from 14:00 till 15:15. The event is organized by: The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bern.
During her panel, Kasia will be discussing together with Paweł Widawski, Tim Weingärtner, Alexander Brunner, Sirpa Tsimal, Roman Kocemba, Gauthier Voron, Michael Krauthammer, Sylwia Bień-Chudarek. The discussion will be focused on cutting-edge technologies like Blockchain, AI, Digital Finance, and their business and scientific implementations.
We are glad to inform you also that we are one of the partners of this amazing forum, the Polish-Swiss initiative that meets Polish and Swiss companies and entrepreneurs and will be attended by a wide range of institutions from both Poland and Switzerland, as well as business, political, technology, and science leaders. Dr. Katarzyna Lasota Heller has over 20 years of experience in IT, IP and FinTech law. Founding Partner of LEXcellence - Swiss Law Firm in Baar (Zug). President of Swiss-Polish Blockchain Association. Founding Member of Polish Professional Women in Switzerland. Dr. Lasota deals with issues related to Blockchain, FinTech, NFTs and Metaverse on daily basis. As visiting professor at Kozminski University in Warsaw she lectures on Blockchain, IP and Technology Law; attorney at law admitted to practice in Switzerland and in Poland. Katarzyna received the doctoral degree in 2003 from Ludwig Maximilian University; as a scholar of the Max-Planck Institute in Munich. She is an alumnus of McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento California, where she finished her LL.M.Studies in 2004. Over the years, she has worked for several large law firms in Munich, Warsaw and Vienna. Between 2010 and 2015 led a global compliance program of a South African Company and was President of EDiMA. Katarzyna is passionate about economic disruption and data driven economy. Wife, mother of a teenage daughter, loves hiking in the Swiss Alpes, occasionally plays golf.
